faulty logic and math mean we calculate life expectancy in sierra leone to be 35 whereas it is 78 here in the states…most of this can be explained, however, due to differences in infant mortality rates…while higher infant mortality rate brings the average life expectancy down, its not like people start dropping dead regularly in their 30s and 40s in other countries…in fact, life spans have been relatively stable for 2000 years!:
